Seventh Biennial William I. Koch International Sea Scout Cup
Get ready for some fun in the sun on a famous Southern California beach. Sea Scouts from all over the world will be taking part in the Koch Cup in 2014. The Koch Cup will feature one week of sailing competition on Flying Junior (FJ’s) sailboats crewed by two person teams. The total cost of this event is $250.00 USD including housing, food, boats and everything needed except for transportation to the event location and personal clothes.
The William I. Koch International and United States Sea Scout Cup 2014 is an international sailing regatta that provides competition between U.S. Sea Scouts and international Scouts. The Event will begin on June 22, 2014 and conclude on June 28, 2014.
- U.S. Youth Participants - The Event is open only to currently registered Sea Scouts in the Boy Scouts of America who have obtained the rank of Apprentice no later than January 1, 2014
- International Youth Participants - The Event is open only to currently registered international Scouts of a recognized foreign Scouting organization.
- All Youth Participants - All youth participants must be at least fourteen (14) years of age and less than twenty one (21) years of age on July 22, 2014.
If you are not a racer staff positions are also available for support staff. Certified lifeguards and experienced boat operators are needed.
