The Southern Region is an administrative body of the BSA that supports Sea Scouts in all of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Tennessee, and parts of Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia. The region is broken down into nine areas that help to deliver program and training resources that best serve the scouts and scouters in the area. 

The region is led by the Regional Key 3 composed of the Regional Commodore, Berry Ekle, Regional Boatswain, and Regional Staff Adviser.
