Hugh H. Riley, Council CommodoreThe Chesapeake High Adventure Sailing Experience (CHASE), gives participants the opportunity to sail the same waters that pirates, and seafarers have plied since the discovery of America. It is headquartered in Virginia on the famous Chesapeake Bay. The base is located Just north of Windmill Point and the Rappahannock River on Fleets Bay within minutes of historic Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown VA. Washington, D.C. is only 2 1/2 hours away by car.
This base provides both a High Adventure Aquatics experience, and an Outpost Sailing Experience. Participants will experience sailing in one of our sailboats, enjoy water-skiing, canoeing, and kayaking. They will have an opportunity to earn several water sport awards and certifications appropriate for their program.
