Sea Scouts BSA

Welcome to the newly redesigned Sea Scouts, BSA website. We hope you found it sleek, fast, and easy to navigate. The Communications and Technology team of the National Sea Scout Committee has been developing this site over the last year. Input from the Voice of the Sea Scout Survey and suggestions from the National Youth Task Force served as the blueprint for the site. The revamped SeaScout.org is just one small part of the National Sea Scout Committee’s Strategic Plan.

As part of the national communications initiative, National Commodore Charles Wurster will be writing a monthly column, the Commodore’s Corner, to update Sea Scouters across the country about the current initiatives of the National Committee. He has made it clear that the communication should be two-way, he will also be answering frequently asked questions about the program and soliciting feedback from volunteers.

Be sure to check back regularly for updates, if you are interested in reading about something specific, submit a request for a future Commodore’s Corner Column here.

Check back later this month (or subscribe for the Commodore’s Corner on your left), for the first edition of the Commodore’s Corner covering the Sea Scout Resolution and awards.
