that applications for Area Boatswain are due on March 15th! You can find the application here. Also, applications are being accepted for Regional and Area Yeoman – those applications are due on April 15th and can be found here.
The Area Boatswain’s duties include communicating with all the ships in their area, providing leadership for Area and Regional Sea Scout events, representing Sea Scouts to the Area Board, and assisting the Area Commodore.
The yeoman’s duties include publicity and communications, especially creating articles for the regional website and for various social media venues.
