Each year the Marine Technology Society offers significant scholarships to college graduate, college undergraduate and senior high school students accepted into full-time marine-related programs with focus in marine technology, marine engineering and/or marine science. Sea Scouts have been recipients of these scholarships in the past, so if you are in or plan to be in one of those programs, this might be worth a try.
The deadline is coming up on April 19th, so if you are interested in applying, see the information here. Note that you do have to be an MTS member to apply, but that student memberships are only $25.
