Sea Scouts from the Mariners in Dana Point, California, built new Knot Boards for training and community events. The attached plans outline how to build one of these knot boards and the materials needed.
Whaleboats are an excellent way for Sea Scouts to have fun on the water, sharpen their boat handling skills, and work as a team. The following is a list of commands that can be used in whaleboats, or any large boat for rowing, for flotilla drill.
