Be a Volunteer
Without thousands of volunteers, Sea Scouts programs would not be possible. If you are not yet a volunteer — but are interested in becoming one — there are several ways to get involved.
Leadership Roles
Sea Scout leaders serve in one of the BSA’s most important roles. Our Skippers, Mates, and Committee Members directly mentor youth and make a difference in the lives of millions.
Administrative Roles
Share your expertise and special talents to serve your local BSA council.
Councils are always in need of active and engaged board members, unit committee members, merit badge counselors, and special event committee personnel.
As Needed
You can volunteer with the Sea Scouts, BSA even if you don’t have a lot of time to commit. Help supervise a cruise, prepare lunch at an event, work at an event registration table, or do any number of small tasks help Sea Scouts in your community.
