An Administrative Law Judge for the State of New York, John is a longtime volunteer with the Greater New York Councils, where he currently serves on the Council Advisory Board. At the national level, he is an active member of both the Scouts BSA Committee and the National Camp Accreditation Program (NCAP) Committee. He brings decades of leadership experience across every level of Scouting, having previously served as a Scoutmaster, Explorer Advisor, Venturing Leader, Council Executive Board Member, Area Vice President, and Territory Program Lead.
Deeply committed to volunteer development and program excellence, John is a Sea Badge graduate and has served as a Wood Badge Course Director. He is an Eagle Scout, a Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow, and the recipient of the Silver Antelope, Silver Beaver, District Award of Merit, Scoutmaster Award of Merit, Scouter’s Key, Scouter’s Training Award, and Den Leader Training Award.
