Fond du Lac Sea Scouts Lighthouse Regatta

The “Fond du Lac Sea Scouts Lighthouse Regatta” is a co-ed competition between B.S.A. registered Sea Scouts from any Central Region Sea Scout Ship, with Scouts racing to earn an invitation to the “William I. Koch International Sea Scout Cup” to be held in 2018. This 2017 racing event will begin and conclude on Tuesday, August 8th, 2017. There will be a limited practice session available on Monday, August 7th, 2017.

Motor City Regatta

The “Motor City Regatta” is a co-ed competition between B.S.A. registered Sea Scouts from the Central Fleet of the Boy Scouts of America, with the Scouts racing to earn an invitation to the “William I. Koch International Sea Scout Cup” to be held in 2018. The 2017 racing event will begin and conclude on Saturday August 5th, 2017. There will be a limited practice session available on Friday August 4th, 2017.

Chicago-area Sea Scout Smith Regatta

This year’s Chicago-area Sea Scouts’ Thomas R. Smith Regatta will be held July 5, 6, for practice and Friday July 7 for races. Regatta participants are strongly encouraged to attend the practice sessions as they are led by a top professional who is an expert in these 420-class boats. In addition, if the weather forecast is bad on Friday, races on Thursday may be counted.

2017 Aggie Cup

The notice of race has been posted for the 2017 Aggie Cup, a Southern Region Qualifier for the 2018 International Sea Scout Cup. The race will be held at Sea Star Base Galveston on September 23, 2017.
